Based in New York City, with valerie is a boutique event planning service founded by creative talent, Valerie Leung, who specializes in Month-of Coordination Plus (an extended version of MOC), for small to medium sized weddings, as well as in booking, planning, and styling other special events involving the union of any two people.

FOUNDER & PLANNER

North Carolina born and raised, Valerie grew up in the suburbs surrounded by trees, sunshine, birds, BBQ, and the smell of freshly cut grass. Although she moved to NYC to attend NYU in 2007 and later established a career as a consultant, she longed to go back to times of simplicity and finding beauty in the smallest of things. After planning several dinner parties, hosting a couple of events, and being in a few of her friends' weddings, born from this was with valerie, her personal project of finding balance in love, life, and happiness by helping others to truly enjoy their weddings full of food, fun, and festivities— events of a lifetime that future couples will never forget. Given her charismatic demeanor, organizational skills, attention to detail, and years of professional experience working with clients, Valerie believes in building a stress-free experience. When she has down time, she seeks sources of inspiration for her clean, simple aesthetic, which often includes taking on as amateur photographer, avid traveler, and… voracious eater. She currently resides in Queens.
